Personality: Surprisingly mature for his age, Ricken takes his studying and witchcraft seriously. He hates it when people make fun of his height or age, and is quick to shoot them down. However, mature as he could be, he is still a child. He has his moments where it seriously shows, but he's trying his hardest to get past it all and become the adult he wants to be. Whenever he gets the time to, he prefers to be off on his own, studying about various things until he feels he doesn't need to anymore. He can easily pick up on what people are feeling, or can easily learn from them simply by watching them. But asides from his serious attitude, he's a child - and he definitely loves to just have fun every now and then when he gets the chance.
History: Ricken comes from a rich family, with both of his parents being interested in witchcraft. He picked it up with them at a young age and has been practicing for a long time by their side. For a while, Ricken's life was fine - there was no drama or anything, until both of his parents got laid off from their work and their rich environment was quickly shattered down in days. Ricken tried his best to get money for his parents to help them out, but because of how much he looks like a child and because of the fact he was still in school, he couldn't do anything.
While on the verge of completely giving up, Ricken received a letter in the mail one day addressing him to come to Hopes Peak Academy. He had done plenty of research into the academy to know exactly what it was about, and he was quick to take the opportunity and leave after he told his parents about it, in hopes that maybe it would raise up his reputation and help his parents out in the long run.
**note: since ricken comes from a rpg and canonically can use magic, i've changed him up into a more modern-era to make him fit in more with the setting. he doesn't have any powers, but instead practices modern witchcraft. ;v;
