Personality: Many consider Leorio to be very materialist and a bit of a naracist, it seemed that his always considers money before anything else. However, he is anything but. This young man once you get to know him you will see that he cares deeply about people, especially those of lower class, and shows great loyalty to his friends. He does not back down from a challenge and provides as much support to those who need it. He shows care to those younger to him and tries to act as a supporting person people can talk to. However, he can often be reckless and rash. But one thing is true, he knows how to talk his way out of situations.
History: Leorio was born to a rather low class family, while not entirely poor, money was not something that was on their side. Growing up, Leorio learned that you had to be tough to survive and not show weakness, it would make you an easy target. Leorio learned about medicine when a traveler from another town came wandering thorugh. The young boy thought that the idea of healing others was something that he could do, the traveler gave him the book he had brought with him, seeing that Leorio could be a great doctor if he tried.
However, during his young age, a dreadful sickness came through, making his youngest brother deathly ill, it was too late for anyone to save him. Not long after that the same sickness took away Leorio’s mother. It hit Leorio hard, and he would often spend his time wandering around at night staring at the stars.
Determined to make sure that no one would be lost to this same sickness again, he continued to study, often spending late hours in the books instead of sleeping. The young child eventually grew up to be one of the best and youngest doctors ever.
There were a few that called him a miracle worker, and one of the best. A title that many of his co-workers and colleges hated him for and Leorio could see the hatred in their eyes. One day before any appointments, he received a letter from Hope’s Peak where they were impressed by his skills. The high school seemed to be one of the best, and while Leorio had gone to school, he was sure that Hope’s Peak would offer something more.
