History: Kofuku was born into a very interesting family. She was the daughter of the head of the mafia in her local town. The young lady grew up as her father’s pride and joy and the other members of the mafia loved her mainly due to her innocence but sneaky demeanor. The talk of money was all she ever heard about and it didn’t take long before she realized that there were more ways to get money than threatening someone. She spent her time in casinos, learning the slots and tricks to gaining her way to the top. Kofuku never once threatened anyone despite her mafia blood, she didn’t want to spill any blood. She wanted to have fun. She called herself the “Sweetheart Gambler.” Kofuku loved the lights and the crowds that drew whenever she played. And while sometimes the opponents became too easy, she would grow bored but that didn’t last long. There were rumors about her cheating but no one ever called her out on it. No one was sure if it was because people did' t want to be targeted by her family or if because they refused to believe that a sweet girl like her could cheat.
One day she received a letter inviting her to attend Hope’s Peak where according to them, her talent as a gambler impressed the Dean of the school and they wanted her to attend. After much consideration, she decided to go.
