Name: Yosuke Hanamura
Age: 16
Tile: Super High School Level Employee
Personality: Yosuke is a clumsy and awkward kid. He is a kind, laid-back kid who cares deeply about his friends. While not always thinking before speaking, he often says things that he doesn’t mean and on occasion ends up hurting people’s feelings. The boy always ends up showing regret and apologizing to those he has hurt and wants to make it up to them. Yosuke does his best to lighten the mood when spirits are down showing that his attitude is carefree. He’s very friendly and does his best in situations. While he is not as smart as others, he has been shown to have some smarts and is very in-tune with people’s feelings. However, the biggest fear he holds is being alone.
History: Yosuke grew up with the two of his parents in the big city. Not long after he reached his teens, his father was to be relocated to be the manager of the local business store Junes. Yosuke and family moved to the small rural town known as Inaba. Many kids and adults hated the store because it was making their own stores start to lose business. It didn’t bother Yosuke, he put up with the jabs and gossip. Yosuke was the one that often got most of the backlash because he was the manager’s son and an employee of the store. He didn’t want to worry his family anymore. His home-life was not going as well as he would have liked. Fighting and yelling was often the cause of this chaos. Yosuke’s mother wanted to move back to the big city and hated being stuck in Inaba. Yosuke did his best to ignore the fighting and act like everything was okay but deep down it wasn’t. The fighting had gotten so bad that divorce was becoming more and more of an option.
Yosuke did his best to keep up the smile and do his best to hide his problems from others. It was his problem, and he didn’t want his friends to make a big deal of it. It was unclear of why he received the letter to Hope’s Peak. According to the letter, some how the deans were impressed with his hard work at the store and was considered a “High School Level Employee” which Yosuke thought was pretty lame. Couldn’t they have noticed his skills in music or something less lame?
However, with much discussion from his parents, Yosuke decided to attend the school. Little did he know he was in for a wild ride.
