Title: Super High School Level Romance Poet
Personality: She is very creative when it comes to writing her poetry down on a piece of notebook paper. Mainly, her personality revolves her writing, and tends to write more in her journals and uses it as self expression. This young teen does like to talk about her favorite idols that inspired her to write, such as Oscar Wilde and Matsuo Basho. Around other female ladies, she tends to get more shy since she did go to an all girls boarding school before approaching Hope Peaks Academy, and she did discover that she was a lesbian. She is proud of her sexual orientation, although she does blush around young women, and just around anyone in general.
History: Ever since she was in elementary school, Aoi was always the odd one out since she was a very shy girl. Her mother was trying to not to get her to be shy as much, but she felt a bit of paranoia whenever she entered a crowded room. So, to calm herself down from stress, she sneaks into the school library in her elementary school library and discovered poetry books and started to get fascinated in them. She started to write poetry and once she was writing, she thought of it as a way to communicate with other people. She was reading through various books to see what other types of poetry were out there, so, she could learn. Throughout her life in an all schools boarding school, she did have a personal mentor whom she fell for, even though it was a woman. During their relationship, she found out about a poetry contest and the prize was Hope Peak's Academy, so, she had to enter. So, she poured out her heart and soul into her entry, and after reading it out loud, she won and got into the school. She was pretty nervous but excited to see what this new school was like, however, as she stepped through the doors, it was life or death for her, as this Academy was something else and there was no turning back for this young lady.
