Soma looked at the washing machines with interest. He had seen them in the palace, but had never used one himself. He pressed a few buttons, enjoying watching the water gush around inside the machine. He knew he must look like an idiot, but he couldn't help but find it amusing. He sat down in a chair and continued to watch, not wanting to really do anything else. Plus, he wanted to learn to do his own laundry without help, and to do that, he had to tinker with the machine first and figure out how it worked.

The gambler was surprised to find that someone else was Laundry Room. It wasn't uncommon for everyone else to be here, but it was still a bit odd. What was even odder was to find that there was a male fiddling with the machine. She didn't want to admit it but she was always interested in watching the clothes go round and round. It was like a show.
"Whatcha doin?" Kofuku asked, innocently and curiously. Was he washing his clothes?

Soma turned to face who had walked into the room, his bracelets jingling when he turned "Not really. That would require me actually know how to operate the washing machine." He turned back to the machine "For now, I'm just messing with it, and attempting to figure it out."

Kofuku couldn't help but give a small chuckle. "I see." she mused before smiling even bigger. "Did you manage to figure it out?" Obviously wherever he grew up, he hadn't dealt with a machine like this one. Though, Kofuku never really used one herself but she knew the just of how they worked. This school at least provided her with necessities to learn how to use one.

His face turned red when he heard her chuckle "No, I haven't." He pushed a button and a loud BEEEEP startled him enough to make him jump from his chair and hurry across the room away from it. He glared at it. Really, he thought, ever since he came to Hope's Peak, he's done nothing but make a fool of himself.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to laugh." Kofuku said, still smiling and trying really hard to keep a straight face. Twirling a small lock of a curl on her finger, Kofuku approached the machine. "I think it means that the clothes are ready, that or maybe it means to put the clothes inside..." she frowned, looking closer at it. There were so many different things on it, what did they all do?
Of course, she knew how to turn it on but possibly, she didn't really know much about washing machines, there were people for that, or the place called the dry cleaners. "I'm Kofuku, Kofuku Ebisu." she held out her hand.

"It couldn't be to take clothes out, I haven't put any clothing in it." He scratched his head "These looked a lot easier to handle when the servants did it..." He grumbled under his breath.
He turned to her and bowed "Soma Asman Kadar. Pleasure to meet you."

Kofuku smiled and gave a curtsy in return. "It's nice to meet you." she thought that the curtsy and bow were kind of funny to do but based on what he said, servants. That meant he was either very rich or royalty. Bowing was probably taught to him when he was little. "Hmmm, maybe its telling you that its ready to put clothes in?" she titled her head to the side, "I'll be honest I have no idea how things like this work."

Kofuku pouted. "Aw, but I never got to meet royalty before. Plus I thought it was fun, bowing I mean." she said, her cheeks puffed out a bit in child-like essence before it shifted back into a smile. "I mean, we are the Super High School Level whatever right? We gotta live up to our titles." The thought had never occurred to her that someone would kill to be the best in their title.
"I don't suppose pressing all the buttons would make it work right?" she asked, looking at the machine.

Kofuku looked at the boy for a moment and then smiled chidlishly and started to push some of the buttons Not really sure what they would do. She could only hope that it wouldn't make it break. "And I am the High School Level Gambler. Though most know me as the Sweetheart Gambler, not sure why." she shrugged her shoulders.

Soma joined her in pressing buttons, beginning to enjoy the fun of it "Well you certainly look like a sweetheart, so that might explain it." If there was one thing Soma was good at, it was flattering people. Royalty required it to rule.
