If not for the circumstances, Souma would have been in utter heaven here. It wasn't the same old palace he was used to, it didn't house the same habitants as the palace with all it's busy and stuffy servants, and Souma wasn't pampered here, making him feel equal, and even normal. But then Monokuma had to ruin it for him, well, not all the way. Souma still liked the school, just not the situation that placed them there. He was scared, but in his role as a prince, he couldn't cry and wail, he had to stay strong for himself. Looking at the door with his arms crossed, he contemplated kicking it, but doing so would probably end up giving him a broken toe. He got an idea, albeit stupid, but he decided to act on it. He backed up several steps and ran at the door with all his strength, but no budge, just an ignorant Souma now on the floor "Not exactly my brightest moment..." He rubbed his arm that made contact with the door.

Due to Reimu's mentality, it was hard for her to really be upset at the situation, since when things were good, she was pessimistic in preparation for the bad, and when things were bad, she was optimistic. The only thing that really bothered her was that she couldn't get back to protect her shrine (and that nobody here was really suitable as a fighting partner, but that was less worrying at the moment). She had made her way to the entrance hall, to maybe try and get her limbs stretched and to stay in her top form.
However, what she was was a man run straight into the door of the school, and he now seemed to be injured. While probably one of the students farthest from being the ideal person to comfort the guy, well, Reimu was probably all that was near him, so she approached him. "Generally in my experience, metal doors are nearly impossible to get open without some sort of technology to open it, and it seems that this door is of that kind," she explained as she came up to him. "I don't really have anything to use as a tourniquet, but if you'd like one of my Yin Yang balls to hold to maybe comfort you, I could at least lend you that."

Souma immediately felt even more stupid now that he realized he had an audience "I know it was a stupid attempt, but you can't really blame me for trying." He got up, still holding his arm "And thank you for the offer, but I think my arm's going to be fine, it's just bruised I think." Same with his ego now. He shook his head "I haven't met you before now, right?" He didn't remember speaking with her before in the Gym.

Well, at least Reimu could say that she tried to help someone, which for her, was saying something, since she wasn't altruistic by choice, only by accident. "Well, if you do need to, I guess I could walk you to the infirmary, which I think is on this floor," Reimu offered. She'd had her fair share and trouble with door, and frankly, maybe it's because the guy didn't seem like he was from around Tokyo. His question took her aback, and she realized that she uh, hadn't really introduced herself to anybody (probably due to her bad mood from earlier, though if somebody had, she probably would have gotten into a physical fight). To drive away the thought of her grandfather nagging at her to be a little friendly, she nodded. "Yeah. I generally don't talk with people much. I'm Reimu Hakurei, Miko of the Hakurei Shrine of Tokyo."

"I'm Soma Asman Kadar, pleasure to meet you." He smiled, still holding his arm "And thank you, it'll be nice to talk to someone along the way." He began to walk towards the infirmary "Sorry you saw me act like a total idiot...I really wasn't thinking straight then." He laughed a bit, embarrassed. Back at the castle, his father would have scolded him for his ignorance, but he figured a sore arm was worth the price to at least attempt to get out. Desperate times calls for desperate measures.

"That's a really long name... You some kind of royalty?" Reimu asked. If so, it did explain that name and why he would even run into the door in the first place. "It's not the first stupid thing I've seen at this school... That bear's design and it being headmaster, that's the first idiotic thing I've witnessed," she remarked.
She paused for a moment before asking, "I have a feeling what your talent may be, but mind telling me?"

"You hit the nail on the head with guessing that I was royalty." He ignored the pain in his shoulder which was beginning to fade and smiled "Super High School Level Prince." He remembered her saying she was a miko, and her attire seemed to point to it "So you are the Super High School Level Miko?"

Huh, so she was correct. Reimu's intuition had hit the mark just like when she kicked her orbs at shrine intruders. "Yeah, I'm a Miko for the Hakurei Shrine in Shibuya. It's not as famous as shrines in Tokyo, but I guess for me to get here, I did something to stand out among the Mikos. Maybe how I protect the shrine, I guess?" She put her Yin Yang balls back in the pockets of her Miko costume. "Though I guess I could say I'm a little sheltered myself, 'cause my grandpa home schooled me at the shrine, so it's my first time going to an actual school."

"Same here. I was hoping I'd have fun learning here. I guess I got my hopes up." The pain in his arm was very dull now "There's hundreds of princes in the world, and I somehow got chosen, so I know how you feel." Soma gave a light smile "I guess we can relate in a way."

"I guess? I wouldn't know anything about being royalty, though. I'venever gone to a formal school until now, honestly. My grandfather taught me everything except my mind, personality, and how to defend the shrine. He still doesn't approve of how I do it, but trouble makers know not to come back again," Reimu shrugged. "If they come to aide harm, they should expect consequences."
